VIF Advisory Board Vacancy

The Rifle Visitor Improvement Fund (VIF) Advisory Board is seeking an interested individual to fill the vacant alternate seat on the Board of Directors. The position would begin when filled and expire on May 31, 2019.

Applicants must be a City of Rifle resident or an appointed representative of a business in the City of Rifle. The VIF Advisory Board meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at noon in Rifle City Hall. The Board acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to the Visitor Improvement Fund, which monies are designated for the development and marketing of visitor improvements and attractions, special events and beautification projects in the City, historic preservation, and the general promotion of the City and its environs.

Individuals who have submitted a letter will then be contacted about the need to be present at the March 14th VIF Advisory Board Meeting for an interview.

The Visitor Improvement Fund Advisory Board has three grant cycles per year: April, August, and December. The Board requires applicants/representatives of the applying organization to appear in person at the meeting following the grant deadline. Please take note of the table below:
