Rifle Animal Shelter Tour
Join Rifle Recreation for a tour of the Rifle Animal Shelter. While we are there we will learn what to do if we see loose or sick animals, what to do if we meet a strange animal, and meet the Rifle animal control officer and Rifle animal shelter staff. Who knows - you may find your new best friend!

Wildlife Rehabilitation Tour
Did you ever wonder where wild animals go when they got hurt or sick? We will be visiting the Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation to learn about why wild animals do not make good pets, what to do if you see a hurt wild animal and get a chance to visit with animals such as wolves, foxes, mountain lions, bobcats and maybe even a bear!

White Water Rafting
Need something exciting to do this summer? How about a cold water blast from the Shoshone rapids to get you going! We’re off to Glenwood Springs for a whitewater rafting tour. These trips will be supervised.

Glenwood Caverns
Join Rifle Recreation for a day of excitement at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. We will get ten tickets each, more will be available at the park, to ride Alpine Roller Coaster, The Giant Swing, The Zip Ride, Laser Tag arena and 4D Ride Theater (as well as other activities). After the park we will head to the Hot Springs Pool to relax for a couple hours. Cost of trip does not include lunch or slide pass at pool

Rifle Fish Hatchery Tour
Come with us to the Rifle Falls Fish Hatchery and see how the Division of Wildlife produces whirling disease free trout to stock our local fisheries. We’ll get to see all the stages of a fish life from the nursery to the outdoor runways. We even get to help feed them. Meet at the Fish Hatchery!
