Utility payments are due the 25th of every month in order to avoid late charges. New bills are mailed out the first week of the month.

Welcome to online bill pay. This service is available 24/7 with no additional fees. You will quickly and securely have access to view and pay your utility bill. You can make a one-time payment or you can register on our secure website to make automatic monthly payments towards your City of Rifle utility bill from your Visa, Master Card, debit card or checking account via electronic check. Your City of Rifle utility account will be updated the next business day (payments made by 12 midnight). Your transaction will post with your financial institution with in 2 – 3 business days.

All you need is your account number, an email address and your name as on your account. Online bill pay is not available for tenants.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If your account is delinquent and you have received a shut-off notice (certified mail) or you are currently disconnected, DO NOT make your payment on-line. Call Utility Billing at the number below between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday to make your payment or come to the Finance Department in City Hall at 202 Railroad Ave.

Once your service has been terminated, it will not be restored outside of regular business hours.

There will be a $25.00 returned check charge for electronic check payments not honored by a customer’s financial institution.
