At a Special Meeting of Rifle City Council on Wednesday, March 14th, an employment contract to hire Davis Farrar as Interim City Manager was approved. This follows the departure of City Manager Jim Nichols earlier this month. Farrar had previously served as Interim City Manager for Rifle from September 5, 2017 through December 1, 2017. Nathan Lindquist, Planning Director, was appointed Interim Assistant City Manager. Farrar will help coordinate the search for a new City Manager.
At the same meeting, Council also approved the final separation agreement with Jim Nichols.
