[ARCHIVED] City of Rifle Announces City Manager Finalists

The Rifle City Council announces four final candidates for the City Manager vacancy.  Rifle conducted a nation-wide search for the person to fill the City Manager position.  These finalists were selected from a group of applicants for the position.  The four finalists are invited to Rifle for a series of interviews, tour of the facilities, and a public reception.  All members of the community are invited to attend the public reception that will be held at the Ute Theater, 132 E. 4th Street, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 7th, 2018.

The four finalists are:

Larry L. Collins
Assistant City Administrator, Interim/Fire Chief  Ann Arbor, Michigan
Larry Collins has worked as the Assistant City Administrator, Interim/Fire Chief for Ann Arbor Fire-Rescue in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 2016.  Prior to that he was the Director and Chief for Brevard County Fire-Rescue in Brevard County, Florida.  Collins has earned a Master of Science in Operations Management with a Business Certificate from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Management from Franklin University.

Mike Kosdrosky
Executive Director, Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Authority  Aspen, CO
Mike Kosdrosky has served the last 3 years as Executive Director for the Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Authority in Aspen, Colorado.  Previously he was the President/CEO for Northwest Denver Business Partnership in Broomfield, Colorado.  Kosdrosky has a Master of Public Administration with Concentration in Local Government Management from the University of Colorado, School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Minor in Economics from Ashland University.

Scott W. Meszaros
Town Administrator/URA Executive Director  Meeker, Colorado
Scott Meszaros has served as the Town Administrator/URA Executive Director for the Town of Meeker, Colorado for the past six years.  Prior to that he was the Town Clerk for the Town of Monument, Colorado.  Meszaros has a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Management from Troy State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude/Class Valedictorian and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University-Pueblo.

James Patrick
City Manager,  City of Storm Lake, Iowa
James Patrick served as the City Manager for the City of Storm Lake, Iowa for seven years.  Prior to that he was the City Manager for the City of Kalispell, Montana.  Patrick holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wheaton College, and served as an Officer in the US Army for 20 years.
