The I-70 gateway beautification project will begin this month. Design planning for the I-70 interchange has been ongoing since 2010. The goal of the original plan was to create a clean look for the roundabouts and a welcoming entrance into the City. Early estimates for improvements were over four million dollars. A new design has been generated which will cost a small fraction of that original amount. The final design includes lighting and landscaping at all corners of the intersection.
